Student and Employee Success–The Richland College Counseling Center, Office of Student Life, and African American Connections organization co-hosted the 2015 Mental Health Symposium on campus October 29 to promote awareness of the varying mental health issues affecting students and the community at-large.  The focus topic was depression and its ability to disable our culture and our students’ ability to learn and succeed.  A distinguished slate of guest mental health professionals addressed the 130 students, faculty, staff, and community partners in attendance.  Tameca Minter, Richland College licensed professional counselor, served as lead coordinator of the event.
