NJCAA HALL OF FAME CALLS MEN’S SOCCER GREATS
COACH WORLEY, FORMER PLAYER RODRIQUEZ TO BE INDUCTED IN NOVEMBER
After more than 200 wins and five NJCAA Division III championships, Richland College men’s soccer coach Sean Worley, along with former T-Duck great Jesus Rodriquez, will be inducted into the NJCAA Soccer Hall of Fame in November.
Worley is a two-time NSCAA National Coach of the Year who has coached 15 years at Richland College. Currently among the top 15 NJCAA soccer coaches in total wins, Worley also coached the T-Ducks to two national runner-up finishes and 17 consecutive region titles.
He joins Rodriquez and seven other players in the Class of 2011.
Rodriquez, a two-time NSCAA All-American, scored 27 goals and recorded 30 assists while helping Richland College win back-to-back NJCAA Division III National Championships in 2002 and 2003, when he earned NSCAA National Player of the Year honors.
In addition, Rodriquez played for the Azzurri Soccer Club when the North Texas team captured both the USASA Amateur Cup and USASA Men’s Under 23 National Championships.
As it stands now, 59 coaches, contributors and players are already named to the NJCAA Soccer Hall of Fame.
