The Richland College Soccer Teams performed well in the National Championships in Tom’s River, New Jersey and Herkimer, New York. The women finished 5th in the nation with a 2-1 victory over DuPage College and the men finished 3rd in the nation with a 4-0 victory over Camden College. Congratulations to the teams, Coach Worley, Coach Toups! Congratulations to sophomore Chessie Luptak (#8) on the Women’s team as well for winning All American!
The women’s soccer team won yesterday’s game against New Jersey’s Rowan Gloucester! The final score was 1-0, scored by #23, Richland College student Cynthia Nunez. Our team will play one last game on Sunday, Nov. 15 in the Consolation Finals at 8:30am CST (9:30am EST). Watch the live stream: http://www.njcaatv.com/landing/index

Open tryouts for the 2016-2017 volleyball season will be held on Sunday, December 6 at 12pm noon in the gym (Guadalupe Hall, East Side of Campus). All positions are open and experience required. The Men’s Soccer team defeated the Montgomery County Community College Mustangs 2-0 yesterday to advance to the semifinals of the National Tournament in Herkimer, NY. The Thunderducks dominated the game despite the rainy conditions. They play Nassau Community College today at 5:30pm CST. Watch the game live on the NJCAA feed available here.
Richland’s Women’s Soccer team returned to Tom’s River, NJ to compete in the National Championship. With several injured players on the team, the Lady Thunderducks fought hard in today’s quarterfinals against the undefeated team, Oxford Emory. They tied 0-0 in both halves. Oxford Emory finally won a goal during overtime.

The Men’s Team plays Montgomery County Community College Mustangs today at 2pm in Herkimer, NY to begin their quest for the National Title. You can watch them live at this link. The Mustangs are ranked 7th in the nation. Let’s pull for our teams to victory.
After playing frightfully well over Halloween weekend in St. Paul, MN with consecutive wins Friday night versus the Hawks of Harper College (8-1) and over the Anoka Ramsey Rams (3-0) on Halloween night, the gentlemen Thunderducks advance to the National Championship Tournament in Herkimer, NY (November 12-15)
