Seth’s traditional drawing background led him to pursue a formal art education at the College of Visual Arts & Design at the University of North Texas. Later at Brookhaven college, he discovered 3D modeling where he began applying his artistic skills to software programs such as Softimage, Maya and ZBrush. He enrolled in the Interactive Game and Simulation program at Richland college where great professors such as Jeremy Roden and Tuan Ho helped guide and cultivate his skill sets.

In June, 2011 he was hired as the first artist for Thruster, the gaming division of Bottle Rocket Apps. Since then Thruster has grown a lot and he was promoted to a senior artist position. He has really enjoyed working on mobile games as he gets to wear multiple hats (concepting, modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, art direction, and occasionally code), and often has a lot of creative freedom and input. Project turn around times are fast as well, helping keep work feeling fresh.

These days he has been enjoying shifting his focus back to 2D skills with pencil, ink, and paint as he finds them to be more personally satisfying.
