Alan’s biggest passion has always been art. His interest in 3d first started when he took a glimpse of it in a 3d World Magazine. He later decided to study some traditional art before moving into video games.
His focus became character art and sculpture. He then started taking some 3d classes at Richland Community College and some traditional art classes at Brookhaven college. After a couple of years, he then shifted his focus to enviroment art for video games to refine his technical skills for video game art.
Before working at Nerve Software as an Environment artist, he was a freelance artist and worked on different types of projects involving 3d. During this period of time, his favorite projects were creating characters for 3d printing.
