T-Dust Alert #69 – Improvements to Outdoor Wireless Connection

WHAT?  Information Technology will be installing wireless access points to the exteriors of some buildings on campus.

WHY?  This project will improve Richland College’s wireless access and services by providing outdoor wireless connection to these expanded areas of campus.

WHERE?  The access points will be installed outside the following buildings:  Bonham, Crockett, Fannin, Guadalupe, Lavaca, Neches, Thunderduck, and Wichita halls.

WHEN?  This installation will take place during the remaining weekends in September.

HOW?  This project will require some drilling, so temporary construction sites and some construction noise should be expected.

WHO?  Information Technology has contracted Netsync Network Solutions to complete the work.

HOW ELSE?  This project is being funded by Richland College institutional funds.

WHAT ELSE?  Please pardon any temporary inconvenience this improvement work may cause.  Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated during the course of this work.
