Richland to partner with ILT High School

Student Success — Kay Eggleston, Richland College president and Garland Chamber of Commerce board member, joined numerous Garland community leaders and students at the groundbreaking ceremony for the International Leadership of Texas (ILT) High School, Garland Campus, on Jan. 20. During the ceremony, Eddie Conger, ILT superintendent, announced a partnership with Richland College designed to provide dual credit enrollment for ILT junior and senior high school students leading to an associate degree concurrent with their high school enrollment and graduation. ILT Garland is a public charter high school whose goal is to prepare citizens for a global society. ILT students study English, Spanish and Chinese as part of the school’s international-focused curriculum.
