Digital Forensics students are prepared

Student Success — The Texas Skills Standards Board (TSSB) recently recognized the skill standards for Digital Forensics Technician programs, following statewide development facilitated by Richland College. Skills standards describe what a worker needs to know and be able to perform on the job, as well as the level of performance needed to succeed in the workplace. These standards describe both the work itself and the worker qualifications required by the industry. The skill standards for this program will be posted on the TSSB website so that community and technical colleges across the state can access, benchmark, and use the standards to inform the content of their workforce education programs. Program recognition, indicated by a gold, embossed seal on exit credentials, signals to employers that graduates from Richland College’s program are prepared with the skills and knowledge defined by the industry, ensuring success in the workplace.
